I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Linda in early 2017 during a significant growth spurt for our company. The processes we had relied on to manage manufacturing for years were now straining under pressure. Our capacity was outstripped, and our work in progress sputtered inefficiently. Linda captured and organized data from various manufacturing steps throughout the plant to draw conclusions on where to apply our efforts. She introduced us to simple, and effective tools to draw (or pull) material through the plant. This resulted in significant improvement in our manufacturing time and reduced waste throughout the system. More so, she was an excellent coach and mentor to several employees she worked with. And while her engagement with our organization was brief, the processes she helped develop are still effective and in use today.
